Vincent surely would never have dreamed that 135 years after he painted the irises in the garden of his asylum, an American painter, drinking cheap instant coffee, would produce a canvas as a tip of the hat to his work.
whenever I make a new canvas, I sign and date the foamcore under the canvas. Here I can see that I started this painting at the end of June '24.
