Besides
the tank, all other paint on the bike was done by Guy. The alloy parts and exhaust
were plastic media blasted, and the steel parts were sand blasted at alternative
Blasters in Marysville.
The silver paint is a 1984 Chrysler silver paint code as recommended on the
Husqvarna Club website. Frame was painted white epoxy primer, then silver base
coat clear coat.
The black parts are painted Duplicolor 1634 low gloss black high temperature
paint. All painting was done in a portable paint booth Guy set up next to his
garage when weather is above 50F.
