Bridge 83, Huddersfield Canal, outside Manchester, UK\
| the incredibly cool Pre-unit overhead valve four stroke single 500cc engine. Under this cover are the fivegears: two cam timing, driven from the end of the crank which also drives the oil pump below. The back three are ignition timing gears with the uppermost being the magneto drive gear. |
